BIG BLUE RENTALS AT YOUR SERVICE

A lakeside getaway designed by architect/owners Tom and Karyn Szurgot. In 2004, shortly after they were married, they envisioned having a place where they could escape to during any season to create memories with their friends and families. Tom grew up coming to his aunt’s cottage in South Haven, and Karyn spent the better part of her childhood at the beach on the East Coast. Together, they rented many beach houses all over the world and in southwest Michigan, but wanted to be close to their home in Chicago. They decided on South Haven due to its proximity to Chicago, and the fact that in and around South Haven, there was so much to do during any season. They purchased a parcel of land where someday they would have S’More Time (and money) to make their dreams a reality. Fifteen years, three kids and two dogs later, they designed and built S’More Time. They escape here from work, sports and other commitments to relax by the beach, pick apples, visit a winery or sit in solitude and read. It’s a place they hope their children and future grandchildren will someday always want to come home to. It’s a place where memories are made and ties to family and friends are strengthened. In the end, they always wish they had S’More Time there.
